The Board of Lyon County Commissioners met in Action Session at 9:00 a.m. in the Commission Chambers with the following people in attendance:

Motion: To Approve the Agenda as presented. Martin/Duft 3-0
Motion: To Approve the Minutes of the 12-14-2023 meeting. Duft/Peck 3-0
Motion: To Approve Warrants Payable 12-22-2023 in the amount of $586,506.77. Peck/Duft 3-0
Motion: To Approve Payroll Payable 12-22-2023 in the amount of $335,998.76. Martin/Duft 3-0
Motion: To Approve Payroll Withholdings Payable 12-22-2023 in the amount of $506,604.27.

Appointments: Commissioners discussed board appointments.
Motion: To Appoint Patricia England to the NCFHAAA board for a term to expire 12-31-2025.

Commissioners and Controller Williams discussed the 2023 audit fee from Agler & Gaeddert.
Motion: To Approve the 2023 Audit Fee from Agler & Gaeddert in the amount of $35,500.00 to be paid from Fund 010-01-7399. Duft/Martin 3-0
Personnel changes: Commissioners reviewed personnel changes.
Commissioners announced Erin Rodriguez as the new Community Corrections Director and Jean Barnett as the new I.T. Director.
Motion: To Approve the Payroll Change Authorizations as presented. Duft/Peck 3-0
Permits: no action taken.
Robbie Weiss presented Commissioners with a request to consider a quote for a replacement floor scrubber at the Anderson Building.
Motion: To Approve the quote from HD Supply in the amount of $9,024.12 to be paid from Fund 017-00-9050 for a replacement floor scrubber for the Anderson Building. Duft/Peck 3-0
Chip Woods and Nathan Collier presented Commissioners with a request to consider the purchase of a trailer.
Motion: To Approve the Sourcewell quote from D&L Trailer Sales for a Model LPX 18-foot-long trailer with loading ramps in the amount of $15,296.24 to be paid from Fund 033-00-9001. Peck/Duft 3-0

Commissioner Martin:
• Attended the Road & Bridge ceremony last Friday.
• We will have the reorganization of the commission on January 11th.
Commissioner Peck:

Clerk Vopat:

Tobey Kelly presented Commissioners with a request to consider the invoice for two 2022 Chevy Colorado truck and trade in a 2007 Jeep Liberty and a 2014 Dodge Ram.
Motion: To Approve the quote from D&T Auto Sales for a 2022 Chevy Colorado truck in the amount of $36,325.00 to be paid from Fund 017-00-9022. Duft/Martin 3-0
Note: This is to be used for the Appraisers Office.
Motion: To Amend the Agenda to consider the quote from D&T Auto Sales for a 2022 Chevy Colorado truck in the amount of $34,125.00 to be paid from Fund 017-00-9022. Martin/Duft 3-0
Motion: To Approve the quote from D&T Auto Sales for a 2022 Chevy Colorado truck in the amount of $34,125.00 to be paid from Fund 017-00-9022. Martin/Duft 3-0

Motion: To move to Legal Executive Session for confidential data exchange with Commissioners, Controller Williams, and Counselor Priest, to return at 10:30 a.m. Martin/Peck 3-0
