A. Consider approving the 2023 Tech Electronics Annual Fire Alarm Test & Inspection for the
courthouse for a total of $3,970.00 to be paid from account [010-70-7661-10], the Annex for
a total of $850.00 to be paid from account [010-70-7661-09], the Sheriff’s Office/Jail for a
total of $7,890.00 to be paid from account [010-70-7661-17], and the Anderson/Bowyer
Building for a total of $590.00 to be paid from account [010-70-7661-12].
9:30 A.M. VII. CHIP WOODS – LYON COUNTY ENGINEER.
A. Consider approving sending a Request for Proposals for Structural Steel Beams according
to the County Engineer’s Specifications.
B. Consider approving sending a Request for Proposals for Galvanized Bridge Plank according
to the County Engineer’s Specification.
C. Consider approving the request from Kim Meyers for closing the 700 Block of Main Street
(Road F or Americus Road) from 1:00PM to 5:00PM on October 29, 2023, for their Trunk or
Treat event. The city is to provide the necessary barricades.
D. Consider approving the purchase of a new engine for D-160, our Caterpillar mini-excavator
from Foley Industries for approximately $12,000.00 to be paid from the Multi-Year Fund
[017-00-9026].

A. Consider approving the Certification of Local Funding Sources for Operating/
Administrative Assistance and authorize Shane Brunner’s signature authority for grant

amount of $296,579.00 to be paid from the General Fund [010-63/64]. *Note: This is for the
2025 Fiscal Year.
