Motion: To Approve canceling Purchase Order #11971 dated 12-30-2021 to Agler & Gaeddert Chartered with a balance remaining of $4,645.32 for audit fees for 2021. Martin/Peck 3-0
Note: This audit is complete and there will be no more billings for this purchase order.

Commissioners discussed fund balances. The Hetlinger fund is currently negative, and a correction needs to be made to balance this fund.

Motion: To Approve transferring $1,700.00 from General Fund 010-00-9900 to the Hetlinger Fund 028-00-5901. Martin/Briggs 3-0

Commissioners Peck gave an update on the “Moving Forward Together!” 2023 Joint Legislative Statement for Emporia and the Surrounding Area. This Statement is represented by the Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce.

Public Hearing for Amending the Lyon County 2022 Budget: Commissioners and Controller Williams discussed the budgets that need to be considered: Capital Outlay: $500,000; Road & Bridge: $500,000; Special Bridge: 100,000; Special Road & Bridge: 76,000; Tort Liability: 1,000; General Fund: 500,000.
This increases the budget authority to expend the funds if needed.
