Chip Woods presented Commissioners with a request from Kim Myers to close the 700 Block of Main Street in Americus for the Trunk or Treat event and an application for Tillman Infrastructure on Road 170.
Motion: To Approve closing the 700 Block of Main Street in Americus, being Road F or the Americus Road, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, October 30, 2022, for a Trunk or Treat event to include the Americus Fire Department chili and hot dog feed. Briggs/Peck 2-0
Motion: To Approve the Entrance Application for Tillman Infrastructure, in the area of 1955 County Road 170 (Old-Old Highway 50). Peck/Briggs 2-0

Roxanne Van Gundy presented Commissioners with a request to consider payment to the City of Emporia for Spillman/Motorola maintenance and the LCECC’s portion of the firewall costs; consider approving Director Van Gundy to attend the Spillman users group meeting in Oklahoma.
Motion: To Approve the payment to the City of Emporia in the amount of $24,407.02 for Spillman/Motorola maintenance as well as the LCECC’s 1/3rd of the firewall replacement for the 2022-2023 year to be paid from Fund 019-00-7600. Briggs/Peck 2-0
Note: These are 911 funds being used for this invoice payment.
Motion: To Approve Roxanne Van Gundy attending the Central States Spillman Users Group meeting on November 14th-15th in Sapulpa, Oklahoma with expenses not to exceed $1,000.00, to be paid from Funds 019-00-7410 and 019-00-7420. Peck/Briggs 2-0
Motion: To move to Legal Executive Session for confidential data exchange with Commissioners, Counselor Priest, Controller Williams, and Counselor Goodman, to return at 10:25 a.m.
