Permits: Deputy Jackson presented an application for a Special Event License from Ignacio Velazquez to have a rodeo at 1223 E. Logan Ave., Emporia, Kansas. He has completed the application and obtained a sales tax number.

Motion: To Approve the permit of the Application for Ignacio Velazquez for a Cereal Malt Beverage to be affected August 8 and to end August 8 with license number A10001524.

Janice Huffman, Lyon County Human Resources, presented Commissioners with the increased cost of Compliance One for EAP, pre-employment, and random drug screening. The cost of services is increasing per member.

Motion: To move to Non-Elected Personnel Executive Session with Commissioners, Janice Huffman HR, Counselor Halleran and Dan Williams, to return at 9:55am. Martin/Peck 3-0
