Motion: To Approve Warrants Payable for 7/8/22 in the amount of $611,411.56.
Motion: To Approve Payroll Payable for 7/8/22 in the amount of $322,663.71.

Motion: To Approve Change Order #1 for 2021 Generator #2 Replacement, Lyon County Jail in the amount of $6,723.38 to be paid from Fund 017-00-9021 for Mitchell-Markowitz Construction Co. Inc.
Motion: To move to Legal Executive Session for confidential data exchange with Commissioners, Controller Williams, Deputy Jackson, Counselor Halleran and Counselor Goodman, to return at 9:30 am.

Permits: Deputy Jackson presented an application for a Special Event License from Ignacio Velazquez to have a rodeo at 1223 E. Logan Ave., Emporia, Kansas. He has completed the application and obtained a sales tax number.
Motion: To Approve the permit of the Application for Ignacio Velazquez for a Cereal Malt Beverage to be affected August 8 and to end August 8 with license number A10001524.
Janice Huffman, Lyon County Human Resources, presented Commissioners with the increased cost of Compliance One for EAP, pre-employment, and random drug screening. The cost of services is increasing per member.
Motion: To move to Non-Elected Personnel Executive Session with Commissioners, Janice Huffman HR, Counselor Halleran and Dan Williams, to return at 9:55am. Martin/Peck 3-0

Dan Williams presented Commissioner with information about the 2023 Budget. Commissioners gave him direction on certain areas.
