Motion: To Approve Warrants Payable 12-29-2021 in the amount of $85,152.71. Peck/Briggs 3-0

Appointments: Commissioners discussed board appointments.

Controller Williams discussed the need to transfer funds to adjust the Court Trustee line item.

Motion: To Approve transferring $8,500.00 from Fund 010-00-9900 to Fund 014-00-5901 to adjust a negative fund. Martin/Briggs 3-0
Jeanine McKenna presented Commissioners with the Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce, 2022 Lyon County Joint Legislative Statement.

Motion: To Approve supporting the 2022 Lyon County Joint Legislative Statement. Peck/Briggs 3-0

Commissioner Martin:
• Next week is the JEDAC meeting.
• Reorganization of the Board of County Commissioners will be on January 13th.
• I will attend the Newman Regional Health board meeting today.

Commissioner Briggs:
• I will attend the Newman Regional Health board meeting today.
• Received an email from the Lyon County Fair Board, the annual meeting is January 12th.

Commissioner Peck:
• I will attend the Newman Regional Health board meeting today.

Clerk Vopat:
• No report

Counselor Goodman:
• JEDAC meeting is next Tuesday.

Controller Williams:
• Working on year end process.
• Sales tax numbers are up from last year.

Public Health Report: Dr. Oyenuga and Renee Hively presented Commissioners with an update on Lyon County Public Health. Dr. Oyenuga said the CDC guidelines have changed on the quarantine time. Covid cases have been on the increase. Renee stated that active cases will be posted every 3 days on the website. There is an increase in testing requests. They will be transferring all active cases to KDHE. An expected peak will be the middle of January.
