Michael Halleran presented Commissioners with a request to consider a Resolution Approving the Amended By-Lays and Cooperation Agreement between Lyon County and KCAMP.

Motion: To Adopt Resolution 19-21, a Resolution Approving the Amended By-Lays and Cooperation Agreement with Lyon County, Kansas, and the Kansas County Association of Multiline Pool (KCAMP).

Motion: To move to Non-Elected Personnel Executive Session with Commissioners and Chip Woods for evaluation, to return to commission chambers at 9:45 a.m. Martin/Briggs 3-0

Public comment: Tagan Trahoon commented on the 2021 SOS Strong Campaign. $57,395.00 was raised and Tagan thanked those who volunteered towards their successful campaign.

Joe Foster presented Commissioners with a request to consider a resolution and request to annex a parcel of land located at 600 Road 180 into the City of Emporia. The landowner is Evergy for improvements to the land allowing for office space, storage, and training. Findings by the Commission: specific findings are not negative to the overall area. Hinder or prevent any growth of the area.

Motion: To Table a request to consider a resolution until July 29, 2021, Extending the Boundaries of the City of Emporia, Kansas to include certain described land located at 600 Road 180. Peck/Martin 3-0
