Mark McKenna presented Commissioners with a request to consider Schumann Electric cleaning electrical switchgear at the Sheriff’s Office, Jail Annex and Courthouse buildings.
Motion: To Approve the quote from Schumann Electric for cleaning electrical switchgear at the following facilities: Sheriff’s Office/Jail for a total of $11,040.00 from Fund 010-70-7646-17; Annex for a total of $4,292.50 from Fund 010-70-7646-09; Courthouse for a total of $6,702.50 from Fund 010-70-7646-10. A total of $22,035.00. Briggs/Slater 3-0
Motion: To Approve the quote from Evergy for work in powering up/down transformers for the electrical cleaning project in the amount of $4,495.80 to be paid for the Jail $2,247.90 from Fund 010-70-7646-17; Courthouse for $1,123.95 from Fund 010-70-7646-10 and Annex for $1,123.95 from Fund 010-70-7646-09. Chip Woods presented Commissioners with a request to consider a resolution posting weight limits on four bridges due to changes in the formula used to rate the bridges and post signage accordingly.
Motion: To Adopt Resolution 10-20, a Resolution Establishing Weight Limits on certain bridges. Briggs/Slater 3-0

Motion: To move to Legal Executive Session for confidential data with Commissioners and Counselor Goodman, Jamie Sauder, Counselor Halleran and Controller Williams, to return at 10:15 a.m. Martin/Briggs 3-0

• I attended the JEDAC meeting and Lyon County Extension board meetings.
• Solid Waste meeting is tomorrow.
• Attended the zoom EOC meeting on Tuesday.
• No report.
• Working on the Cares Act reporting.
• The mail ballot drop boxes are installed. Thank you to Dennis Baysinger and his crew at the Road & Bridge Department for the installation and thank you also to the City of Emporia for allowing us to install along with the city utility drop boxes.
• We are preparing the ballots for mailing next week.
• Working on the tax roll.
• I contacted LCAT and they will provide free rides to and from the polling locations on Election Day.
• Last Thursday I attended the PBC Annual meeting.
• On Tuesday I attended the JEDAC meeting.
• I attended the RDA Finance meeting via zoom. Tomorrow is the regular RDA zoom meeting.
