Severe Weather Awareness Training:

Hosted by the National Weather Service,
in conjunction with the Lyon County Emergency Management Office.

Time:  7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

12th & Industrial Road / Emporia, Kansas   66801

Traditionally, spring is severe weather season in Kansas, however, tornadoes and thunderstorms can occur anytime.   The National Weather Service in Topeka, Kansas will present information to help citizens better prepare for severe weather by monitoring the weather and preparing a survival kit.  Knowledge and advanced planning will help you and your family remain safe during severe weather.
