ELECTION CLERK II

 

LYON COUNTY KANSAS DEPARTMENT ON AGING is seeking LCAT Dispatcher for their Lyon County Area Transportation Department! Lyon County Kansas LCAT Dispatcher is a full time non-exempt position starting at $10.66 an hour and provides services resulting in the timely and efficient transportation of customers. This would include but is not limited to: driver assignments, bus assignments, distributing all drivers’ paper work, gathering all completed paper work from drivers, and entering some payroll and necessary information into computer programs. Scheduling and dispatching drivers, or service vehicles for conveyance of passengers or for normal installation, service, or emergency repairs rendered outside the place of business. Must have a valid Class C driver’s license High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required. A current Commercial Kansas driver’s license with passenger endorsement is desirable. L-CAT Dispatcher

 

Lyon County Emergency Communications Center (LCECC) has an opening for Shift Supervisor.  This is a non-exempt position which begins at $17.18/hour plus benefits.  This is a working supervisor position in a newly consolidated Public Safety Answering Point that serves three law enforcement agencies, seven fire districts and a county-wide EMS.

LCECC is a progressive PSAP with a focus on customer service.  LCECC is on the State of Kansas NG911 platform, has a newly installed Zetron Max radio console system, and is implementing the APCO Adviser EMD/EPD/EFD program in 2016.

Applicants must have a GED or High School diploma and a minimum of three years’ experience in a 911 center.  Supervisor experience is preferred.  Experience with Spillman CAD is helpful.

Food Preparer

Lyon County Department on Aging & LCAT — are seeking Part-Time and On Call (PRN) Bus Drivers. The LCAT Public Transportation covers various Demand, County and Deviated Fixed Routes for the public. This position works closely with Management and Dispatch to coordinate, develop and engineer a better customer experience for the public. Requires interaction and communication with the public as well as some interaction with applicable state and federal agencies (KDOT) to provide input from the front line to Management on cost effective programs that meet the needs of residents served by the department.
This is a part-time non-exempt position responsible for the operation of public transit vehicles. Work hours are flexible and may range from 15 – 29 hours per week. Occasional Saturday work may be required.
Requires a driving record approved by the agency insuring the public transit vehicles. Must be able to pass a pre-employment KDOT transportation physical examination. Within a reasonable time after hire, employee must acquire a Commercial Kansas Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement, an American Red Cross First Aid / CPR card or equivalent and obtain a certificate of National Safety Defensive Driving Certificate.
