Commissioner Briggs:
• I attended the Fair Board meeting on Monday night.

Commissioner Martin:
• I attended the Lyon County Extension Board meeting on Tuesday evening.
• Sharon Gaede, County Treasurer and Tammy Vopat, County Clerk did attend the Simmons Pet Food ribbon cutting ceremony last week Thursday.
• The City/County meeting is tentatively scheduled for July 10, 2019 at noon.

Commissioner Slater:
• I plan to attend the RDA meeting tomorrow.
• A reminder that the RDA dinner is a week from tonight.
• There was no Community Corrections meeting this month.

Counselor Goodman:
• I attended the County and District Attorney Conference last week Thursday and Friday.
• I plan to attend the RDA meeting tomorrow.

Controller Williams:
• I attended the Lyon County Fair Board meeting on Monday night.
• I attended the Ignite meeting on Wednesday.

Deputy Buell:
• We received a Road Vacation for portion of Road U. The viewing is attentively scheduled for July 10, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.

Dean Hollenbeck and Steve Loewen presented Commissioners with a quote for funding equipment for Flint Hills Technical College and Human Services Division in the amount of $58,460.00.

Julie Govert Walter, Sharon Bechtel, and Kelsey Pfannenstiel presented Commissioners with the North Central-Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging 2020 budget request in the amount of $218,000.00.

Daphne Mertens, Kalee Schultz, Mark Schondelmaier, and John Koelsch presented Commissioners with a proposal of putting a walking pathway for the Lyon County Fairgrounds on Industrial Road.

Public comment: Mark McKenna and Bruce Boettcher informed the Commissioners that a change order will be presented later for the unexpected expense of the removal of bricks and a slab of cement. This was not included in the previous bid for the Sheriff’s Department’s generator.

Dan Williams presented Commissioners with a preliminary number for the 2020 budget for Lyon County.

Commission will have a work study session next Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. to discuss the Lyon County 2020 budget.
